Las Tunas.- With a change of image in its installation and the increase of new services, the workers of the Cadillac hotel, in the historic center of this city, receive for the seventh consecutive time the status of National Vanguard, of the Hotel and Tourism Union.
Maribel Rivera Ordoñez, general secretary of the labor organization in the province of Las Tunas, presented the recognition to José Daniel Sardina Martínez, director of the facility and Erlinda Zayas Mora, representative of the base union section.
The Cadillac hotel reopened its doors with a transformation of the lobby, the snack bar and the terrace with cocktails and light food offers; as well as new gastronomic products in the bodegón, located in the basement.
The changes in the image of the tourist facility were thanks to the support of the local artists of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets and those of structure due to the efforts of the construction brigade Elpidio Sosa, from the tourism sector, who kept working during the paralysis of the services, in times of Covid-19.
Belonging to the Islazul chain, the labor group also stands out for fulfilling its commitments in 2019 with efficiency, quality, professionalism and a sense of belonging.
The center maintains positive results in economic management, complies with the foreign exchange earnings plan at 104 percent and in total currency at 105 percent and increases the customer satisfaction index as a result of the improvement in services.
