Las Tunas.- For effective participation, the International Day of Equalization of Opportunities in the province of Las Tunas promotes various activities among the members of the Association of People with Physical Motor Limits (Aclifim) in order to promote their rehabilitation and insertion in the social life.

The vice president of Aclifim, Nelson Molina told Tiempo 21 that the objective of the conference is to make women and men with disabilities visible and contribute to the elimination of barriers of all kinds, as well as to carry out actions that promote their integration.

Likewise, he collected the sensitivity of the population and the institutions to the material needs and psychological support that people with limitations need, so that they can work, study and integrate socially. The celebration will last until December 3, a date proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1992 as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities
