Las Tunas.- With great pride, the workers of the Port of Carúpano, in the municipality of Puerto Padre, celebrate today the 44th anniversary of the creation of the bulk sugar terminal, an event that was attended by Fidel Castro.
For this group, there is no better way to commemorate such a significant date than with the commitment to fulfill the main productive commitments, despite the intensification of the blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba.
Port operations in the Port of Carúpano maintain an adequate rhythm, and this is due to the fact that, with effort and industriousness, the workers operate thousands of tons of merchandise destined for export and the domestic market.
The adequate behavior of the economic and efficiency indicators is also distinguished there, according to the situation imposed by the health crisis and the adjustments made.
