Las Tunas.- The José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM), in Las Tunas, held this Friday the “Cuba, my country” festival, dedicated to promoting and strengthening pioneering movements in the teaching of Special, Primary and Secondary Education. .
The event, of a national nature, in the province had its headquarters in the Provincial Palace of Pioneers “José Martí” and was dedicated to promoting and strengthening the operation of the OPJM, which will celebrate its 61st anniversary on April 4, as well as to honor the upcoming birthday of the Union of Young Communists (UJC), the 60th birthday of Special Education and the 169th birthday of the Apostle of Cuban independence.
Sports games, meetings with combatants of the Revolution, presentations of the Pioneer Explorers Movement, vocational guidance and professional training activities, exhibitions of the circles of interest, painting on the asphalt and the reading and dissemination of publications were some of the activities carried out during the day.
