Caracas, Venezuela.- The Agricultores of Cuba are already in Venezuela to participate in the 65th edition of the Caribbean Baseball Series in Greater Caracas 2023, which will begin on February 2.
The team was received by the Cuban ambassador, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera and other officials of the Cuban mission in this country.
Rodríguez expressed the ties that unite Cuba and Venezuela and highlighted the passion for baseball felt by Cubans and Venezuelans. He also said that in each stadium there will be the members of the different missions that provide services in this town and brother and therefore they will feel the support from the stands.
The Cubans will make their debut on February 2 against Curacao starting at 10:30 am local time (9:30 in Cuba).
The Agricultores will carry out a training session this Wednesday afternoon at the César Nieves stadium, in La Guaira.
The Cuban director, Carlos Martí, confirmed César García as the first starter and stated that they are still working in the starting lineup.
